Thought he deserved his own thread, Carl and others have spotted on Facebook that NintendoGamer has sadly passed away, he was only 26 which makes it all the more tragic.

If you're not familiar with NG (Gerry), he was an incredibly passionate Nintendo fan, always optimistic (and then sometimes incredibly, humorously pessmistic!!) about Nintendo's fortunes, but always kept a cool head about things and had a sweet naivety about him.

Moreno posted this in 2011, a mini life story about NG growing up with Nintendo and his passion and love for them.

I mean, I won't pretend I knew him well, but he seemed nice, and checking out at 26 is always a tragedy.

Man, I didn't know the person, but being a great VGC member it makes it extremely sad. And at age 26? That's horrible. I hope he's on a happier place now.
