This is to replace the old thread I started one year ago to track most wanted items on amazon. I am making a new thread because the way I am doing this changed quiet a lot.

Now, I am tracking only hardware and only once a week. If an item is first on Amazon most wanted list, it gets 100 points. If it is second, 99 points etc.

A console can get more than 100 points if there are several skus in the top 100.

I am tracking Amazon USA, Canada, France, Germany, UK and Japan.

The "Overall" graph is obtained by the following formula :   (USA x3 + Canada x1 + UK x1 + France x1 + Germany x1 + Japan x2) / 9

I will do WOW and YOY comparisons.

I will update this on a weekly basis.

Update 14-02-15 :

WiiU strongly up WOW (due mainly to Xenoblade bundle in Japan). It's strongly up YOY.

XBO continues to go down WOW, could be last next week.

PS4 still going down WOW (not surprising considering how high it was but down YOY).

3DS dominating thanks to new 3DS launch.

Vita up WOW thanks to a big increase in Japan (completely dead everywhere else).

Nice to see Wii U up. I think this does bode well, especially if a price cut happens.
