In Japan that's pretty solid.

It's not big. Just like Bravely Default is not a big game. Pokémon, Youkai Watch, Animal Crossing and Monster Hunter are big.

Disagree with this, Your comparing S Class to B Class practically. Tales of, God Eater, Kirby, Persona are all big games in japan. It doesn't have to sell 2mil+ to be considered a big game.

Just different tiers In Japan, anything over 100k in sales there is pretty big. 95% of games dont hit over 100k there. If i had to break it downoverall it be something like this...

SS Tier: Pokemon/Animal Crossing/Dragon Quest/Mnster Hunter/ Youkai Watch (as of now)

S Tier: 2D Mario/Final Fantasy/Mario Kart/Resident Evil/Tomodachi/Luigi's Mansion (this one is arguable)

A Tier: Tales of/3D Mario/Mario Party/Fire Emblem/Kirby/God Eater

B Tier: Zelda/Freedom Wars/SMT/Bravely Default/Persona (this will definitely move up with P5 imo)

Bravely Default sold more than God Eater 2 in Japan.

GE2 sold like 600k-700k. (talking about psp version with it which is overall franchise despite having an advantage on 2 systems)

Also lol at the Vita having a "very big year in 2015". Even in Japan it's sinking YoY and it's being completely cleared out of North American retail stores. If you want to see something sad go to the Vita section of any big retailer here, it's a ghost town.

I needed to get a Vita power adaptor and had to go to like four different stores because no one had any new stock of any Vita stuff anywhere (EB didn't, finally found a third party one at a second Best Buy).

lol this thread made me laugh, not biased at all xD
And as others have pointed out "Let's say" and "This is a fact!!!" is not a fact nor real evidence.
Anyway who cares which systmem sells more. As a gamer it should be about them games, not numbers and fanboy-ism

100% this. Both are supreme failures and to be honest it doesn´t really matters which of these two devices manages to fail more....

Yup...RO friggin rocked

Uhm the Wii U is doing good and the Vita isn´t. You guys might want to educate yourselves on the matter before you make yourselves look like idiots

WiiU will win, the Vita can't beat it.

Not saying it will but it definitely can.

The Vita only needs Japan and the rest of the world to outsell the Wii U. Also sony support is not as important as third parties and they seem on side with Vita.

I think Wii U will overtake vita this holiday, but Vita will return to the top in the longrun because Japan.

Wii u outsold psv in Holiday 2014 and now in January i don't see how vita will start to outsell it.

Third party are not in any side ,release some port and niche games won't help vita much

Doesn't Nintendo hardware heavily spike over holidays?

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

They're both selling like crap.
