I wonder why the wiiu can not play blurays, it has the drive and stuff. Does it play dvds? I never tried.

It's about cutting costs. to "legally" play bluray movies (in some countries ) you must pay licence fee for evry device to blu ray consortium.

poor nintendo, what a bad idea the WiiU was. I mean, I think it is a adorable console, but, as a bussiness decision...

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Trolling?, we are talking about a game  that is  real next gen exclusive to the WiiU... about a periphearl or something that is going to be an improvement to the console itself... and you came from nowhere with "poor nintendo... bla bla bla" damn some people just never change.

I'm betting it lets you install so much of the game onto the flash memory for seamless gameplay. This will also lead to faster load times and less pop in. It means that future games could possibly install to the external. If this is possible I will be in heaven. And my disc drive would be eternally grateful.

the Online component is the part i'm looking for in Xenoblade X

So, if people here are right, does this mean when you buy the XCX disk, you have the option to download and install the game right onto your hard drive? Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that basically mean you'd have to buy an external hard drive to do this? If the game really is as large as their claiming (25+ GB), wouldn't that mean an external hard drive would be required in order to install it? Am I missing something here?

The details are too vague take any conclusions, but they could let you install part of the disk content to improve load times during cutscenes.

You/We won't need to install the whole game, just a part of it.

Please excuse my bad English.

Probably a portable harddrive bundle. Surprised Nintendo haven't gone down that road yet and created an official, afforadable harddrive for the Wii U. It's time.

Ok I see now. So just a ballpark estimate, let's say you'd need like 5 GB of space to install all the cutscenes? Something like that?

Lol Just like in the old days of the Xbox 360. Having multiple disks for a game.

My old days of "multiple disks for a game" are PS1 & FF VII
