Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wii U has me excited this year!

So, after the ND today, I had some time to think and I came to the conclusion that 2015 looks pretty great for me with the Wii U.

Before, I was only iffy on a few of the games but now want Splatoon & X for sure. X wasn't even on my radar before but it had something that drew me in. I think it was the large variety in the areas. Splatoon looks awesome too but hope they add 2V2 multiplayer.

I am also possibly getting Bayonetta 2 and have yet to get the Mario Kart DLC or any eShop games.

After that we still have Yoshi and Mario Maker which I'll look into. Finally, we have Zelda at the end of the year. Windwaker was my first Zelda experience and thought it was a great game, solid all around.

I might also get the Metroid Prime Trilogy if it's cheap because a few people on here love it. I tried Prime 1 & 3 before and couldn't get into it. It was too hard for my casual-ness. I might give it another go.

Anyway, I'm hoping 2015 is great and things are looking up for my opinion on the Wii U!

Same here mate! Splatoon is definitely my #1, but there's also Mario Maker, Devil's Third, Xenoblade, and even Kirby is starting to interest me! Zelda n Starfox I need to see more of, but I'm sure I'll atleast get the former. Plus I still need to get Hyrule Warriors, Sonic Lost World, and Baconetta 2!

Yeaa! The wiiU certainly has an exciting year ahead of it and I really can't wait for the games!

Yeah, the console is getting some great titles this year! I'd say that Splatoona and Xenoblade X are the ones that I'm most looking forward too.

My #1 is a tie between Splatoon & X.

Kirby & Devils 3rd don't have my interest yet but as you can see, things change. I totally forgot about Star Fox which makes me even more curious. I'm hoping it's great but am cautiously hesitant.

By the way, how have you been Delphin?

2015 is shaping up to be an even better year than 2014 for me in terms of the Wii U. While 2014 had Mario Kart, DK, Bayonetta, Smash, Hyrule Warriors and Captain Toad, I think 2015's lineup edges it out. Zelda, Splatoon, Xenoblade, Yoshi and Star Fox are going to be must-haves for me, and then there's a bunch of other titles to look forward to like Devil's Third, Kirby, Mario Party, Mighty No. 9 and Mario Maker.

It makes me glad to see Nintendo supporting a system that's not doing well. I mean, imagine how 2016 will be like.

I am looking forward to E3 because I want to know for sure that Nintendo is going to support the Wii U after this year. I think after Zelda, they won't feel the need to anymore because fans already had a lot to play by then. I hope they continue it though, Wii U is slowly growing on me

But Splatoon is inkcredible! Plus we've actually seen plenty of gameplay for it versus barely none for XCX. :L

I think controlling the game with just the stylus is pretty neat, I am a fan of Phantom Hourglass afterall! As for Devil's Third I've never played a Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden-like game before so I figure why not start with this one on Wii U!

I've been playing Smash n Kart! How bout you? xD

Xenoblade Chronicles X and Legend of Zelda is all I care about the Wii U right now and frankly that is enough. As someone with all the consoles, I don't need Nintendo to have more for me to want. If they do, that is great. I am satisfied with what they been delivering. It might not have the big third party titles but it does have a few games making the system worthwhile.
