i dont thing those numbers are true, what does it matter if you have 2 or 10 feet? use freaking SI units if someone should take your "facts" seriously...

Yes, i know that... :p What does it have to do with his claim that "90% of people can't tell resolutions and framerates unless they are told.". There's not much wiggle room in that statement, hence i'm curious to know where he got that information.

The farther you are from something the less your eye can see. 720p and 1080p are no different for a lot of people considering this.  While technically they are diffferent your eye cant necessarily tell that

i dont think that people who dont use SI units can be tooken seriously if it comes to tech or science. so maybe you are right, maybe not, it just looks made up if you dont use the right tech words.

I wasn't aware stating a hypothetical as fact was a thing now, especially not without previously mentioning the assumed variable. I've seen him do it quite a few times, so obviously he's the forger of this exiting new trend.

I can tell the difference between 720p/900p/1080p or 30fps/60fps pretty damn easily... :p They aren't necessary to my enjoyment, but i certainly notice and value their inclusion (the former more than the latter in most cases though).

Just because you can't, doesn't mean others can't. Not unless you mean to imply that you are a being above common men, and anything you can't do is truly impossible for the rest of us? ^^ Otherwise i'd loooove for you to provide a study proving your statement about 90% not being able to :) Otherwise you're spreading fud, which is against the forum rules.
