Forums - PC Discussion - Anyone able to run dragon age inquisition on their laptop?

My laptop is almost 3 years old, so I don't think so. Pretty sure my GPU didn't come close to the minimum requirement.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

I have an ASUS ROG G751 Series G751JT-CH71 Gaming Laptop. Nvidia GeForce 970M. 16GB RAM. 1TB HDD. Intel i7-4710HQ (2.50GHz).

That laptop runs Dragon Age: Inquisition with zero problems on High detail setting. It also never gets very hot. I don't know about this "laptops aren't built for gaming" nonsense.

I think the nonsense being reffered to is more like "affordable laptops aren't built for extremely demanding gaming"

Well that is ridiculous then. The answer is no. Cheaper laptops have lower specs. If you want to play a demanding game then pay more, and upgrade your specs. The end.

P.S. My laptop cost $1,500 (USD). It wasn't the most expensive laptop out there, although it certainly wasn't the cheapest.

All this talk about gaming laptops is making me sick. One must properly game on a desktop.
