It could be a year which you personally find as the greatest year in gaming since you got a new console or played a slew of amazing games or a year which you historically see as the greatest year in gaming. For me that year was 2009, it's the year were I bought my first console ( PS2 ) with my own money and it's probably the year were I played and finished the greatest amount of games.
