And this is why I want another gaming crash. People will support corrupt companies. If this were any other industruy, companies like Activision would be bankrupt.

You want a gaming crash because people like games you don't? Please tell us more about how you want the world to revolve around you.

So you want to have to pay for broken, unfinished games? Fine by me.

If were talking about Destiny there was nothing broken or unfinished to me. Now If were talking about things like Halo MCC and Drive club well that's a different story and we don't need gaming to crash to fix it. We just need reviewer/gaming journalist to do their job.

For instance when half of a game doesn't work you don't give it an 8 you give it a 4-5. Then all this broken gaming stuff would stop happening because game devs/publishers don't want their games being scored so low they know that affects sales. So really we just need gaming journalism to crash and let people who really want to do the job right come in and do it.

Nah, when you have  a story like destiny, it always screams unfinished. the gameplay is fun but to me the game could have been so much more.

I'm ok with people calling the game unfinished. It does feel that way to some extend....   one of the crazy things to me in this game you need to pause to use consumables.. with those fast moving strikes action..you telling me i cannot do that on the fly? seriously bungie?"

Praise the One.

"It is fucking amazing, addictive and fun"...sure. I think you mean, it was meant to be those things before corporate greed, cut off 70% of the story and 2 raids to be sold as dlc.

Destiny is unfinished. The story alone tells you that.

The story was purposely unfinished they left it like that too continue it. That's like saying mass effect was unfinished.

Gaming Journalism isn't the only problem. Many features are being removed from games just for DLC and pre-order bonuses. Many games aren't beta tested and are always being patched. The cycle just has to stop somewhere.

That's complete bs and you know it. Mass Effect is way more fleshed out than Destiny. We're not talking about the ending of Destiny we're talking about everything inbetween.

Yes Mass Effect is more fleshed out but they both ended with huge cliff hangers. What happened in between that made the game so unfinished in your eyes? I honestly don't see it.

The issue with Destiny is that its best experiences are hidden away many hours after actually beating its story mode and soft level 20 cap.

The nightfalls and raids (especially on hardmode) can't be accessed or even completed until you are max level 30 (now 31-32 for Crota's End raid), or very close. Hard VoG raid is one of the most amazing experiences I've had in an FPS ever. The co-operation and skill required of all 6 players makes it such a challenge to beat. The rewards are also some of the best and very frequent, unlike any other activity in the game.

It's just a shame that most people who hate Destiny are doing so without ever having experienced some of its most unique, best and rewarding content. To be honest I don't even blame them for it because Destiny as an experience changes completely once you reach the highest echelon. Until then it is a very grindy and monotonous experience with a stingy reward system. And therein lies its biggest fault - it is an amazing experience, but you have to work through the monotony to get to that experience.

Yes but a gaming crash is not the way to have all that stuff fixed that is an extreme answer to an easily fixable situation. Gaming Journalism has the most power and is in the best position to get it fixed. They are the ones with direct contact with all these devs and pubs. If they started asking hard questions and stopped being so soft in their reviews things would change. Activision literally was giving higher bonuses for higher review scores that's how much faith publishers put into reviews. Journalist have a ton of power in this industry but their to busy getting free stuff and enjoying all the other free stuff to give a damn about their job. Thankfully it seems like some sites are starting to take their job seriously and do it right. Gamespot giving Halo a 6 was amazing and that was a site I stopped visiting a long time ago cause their reviews were horrible. It restored a bit of faith in me for that site and I've been keeping an eye on it to see how they do in later reviews with buggy/broken games.
