Sony is going third party on the next generation. We already see hints of this with the release of PS Now. The future is streaming so we won't need a dedicated console anymore, PS Now will be available in every device on the planet and it will be able to play PS1/2/3/4 and next generation games (and by next gen I mean the 9th generation).

This will make Sony a third part developer since they will be making games for other devices! By the next generation PS consoles will be history.

Face the future peasants and embrace me as your god. I will be right, and you can bump this thing in the future and rejoice in my succesful prediction.

Streaming-only wouldn't make them third party, it would make them irrelevant.

Well you must be god, there where no more options. I was a atheist when I woke up today but now after this revelation.

So will Nintendo and M$. The industry will crash and Atari will make the only console next gen.

Who is going to be the demigod to pull this from the depths when the 9th gen finally arrives, well you as our god be so kind to show us the light weather you be right or wrong.

I'm not a PC fanboy, but desktops are the future. It's more than obvious. And if Sony went 3rd party, that would seal it. Especially seeing as MS own one  of the 2 most popular consoles. It would make sense for them too.
