It makes sense. The xbone sells extremely well during the holidays due to price cuts/bundles but it also suggests that it is being bought as a gift. I personally never wait til holidays to buy myself a console. I just buy it whenever. Same thing with all of my friends.

Don't sweat it. Necro threads are allowed so long as they are pertinent to current events.

I know our numbers are a month old, so they cannot really be called a current event (har har) but the numbers worked out, and a conclusion resulted. Anyway, thanks for your input. :D

na, not realy, he just showed that he has no clue...

m$ simple cant do whats right, because they need to look at other aspects too.  they have to compromisse between different interrests.

Well the real issue is that Dark Feanor assumed that it was MS belief that they would outsell. Like I had correctly pointed out, the price drop back in december was simply a test, which is now permanent after the price went back up in January. There was no disconnect between how I saw it and how MS saw it. Me being right didn't make ms wrong, it's just funny the way he wrote it like that.
