According to wiki the only things left that other studios didn't do is networking, and the cea port. So how is that mainly 343? They didn't even do forge certain affinity did that.

Wiki says 343 did the main work and there is addition work done by other studios so at the end of the day 343 is the one who made sure everything was done correctly.

The boxart says 343 industries, so they should take the blame.

I completely agree they should take the blame, I never said that. It's their game and they released a mess. I know I play it. But I was disputing what u said about 343 making the game. 343 did almost nothing they outsourced basically everything. Don't tell me they didn't cause I know they did(ur interpitation of what wiki says, which by the way isn't correct either is not factual) 343 did hardly any of the work which they have said multiple times. Still their fault but I was never arguing that.

I disagree when you say they barely did any work. Why is their logo on the box art? Why was it always people from 343 studios presenting the game instead of the people from the studio who, as you say, did the most work? Why does the wiki say, and I quote "The collection was primarily developed by 343 Industries"???

343 is also the one credited with having made the online networking, which is whats wrong with the game right now according to some people (the online). It's safe to say 343 had the most work done on this and is the main person to blame.

I could write the article on wiki, would that make it a fact hell no. I watched every vidoc and saw every peice of info on the game.

343 did not develop the port for cea

343 did not develop the halo 2 PC port, or halo 2 anniversary

343 did not develop the ports for halo 3 or 4

343 did not develop the 6 remade maps or forge

so how in the world does that translate into them doing most of the work. And of course they get to put their name on it. It's there game, their ip. They could have outsourced 100% of the game and still put their name on it if they wanted too.

I find it do funny when people bend the truth and/or get heated over a game they don't own, on a system they don't own.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

Few issues still here and there, but its a lot better now ... If you get a solid group of 3-4 friends matches work alright.

I just got off the online chat with Microsoft. I got a refund for my Halo: MCC.

I'm not sure what their return or refund policy, but apparently I got a refund because my account did not have proper license.

Regardless, I'm glad that I can get a refund for this broken game. I will purchase it again when they fix the problem and drop the price.

I feel bad that Microsoft really drop the ball on Halo: MCC being a flagship title... big blow to Xbox One momentum.

Isn't going to affect anything though. The average consumer is not informed of such things and will just go out and buy it cuz it's halo. It was a smart move by ms. The game also isn't broken enough to really upset the mainstream gamer, and there are enough other good games out that people will just buy something else if they're that unhappy. Buy the system for halo, buy something else...and I mean, it's the holidays. It wasn't much of a risk to rush it and they know that.

I got the game do you have the game? And I usually frequent Xbox Empire. And Twitch as well...

"You can close your eyes and plug your ears if you want to but single player issues isn't what you trying to make it."

Everybody get the word out as soon possible. MCC has no single player issues its right here for everyone to see Goatseye has the game and he said so.... ill take the word of reputable sources over the happings of one random poster ( an X1   biased one at that)

My single player experience was good (even played two player co-op did not notice drop in  frame rate).... only played Halo 1 and Halo 2 campaign. I mostly wanted to play MP though and this is were the game is broken....

First two week, you couldn't even play.
The ranking doesn't work
Game were not balance. I wait 30 min to play a game of  4 vs 2 and then after the game you get booted out.

They should of gave us a working Halo 2 MP and then promised everything else in future patch.

He's not gonna believe you. He is going by Gaf because you are one random poster (an X1 biased one at that).

It sold over a million copies and it's a remake. It did nothing to hurt momentum. That's the worst part of these games being broken at release. It doesn't hurt the publisher or the developer or the platform, because by the time people know it's too late. It just hurts the gaming industry as a whole by making people not trust games to be good at launch so less people buy at launch.

Microsoft is getting tons of bad word of mouth... had Halo: MCC collection been the remastered all inclusive game it was suppose to be without the online issues. This game would be the talk of this Holiday season. I would of clocked over 30 hours by now. Microsoft would of had best exclusive of holiday season, Cheapest bundle of black friday all of which would of led to greater momemtum.

That's just to show you, people (corporation) can't have everything all the time. Were they trying to rip us off though?

Well of course it wasn't planned. You make less profit by shipping a broken product. Public image is everything for these companies.

Someone got into an argument with me about which was the better value between FFX/X-2 HD vs Halo MCC. The result is obviously debatable but at least one of them works properly.

343 was responsible for testing a ton of games. That doesn't mean they should be given a pass, but it's difficult to test multiPlayer, when there will be millions of players. This is 4 games. That's a tall order.

I'm just surprised that a non Sony platform game is having all these problems.
