They did add 2 games and the Playstation Camera to the $399 price last night.  That is why it bumped.  Now it is still with 2 free games.  Its only natural that it would get a considerable bump once the word got out.

Again, ps4 proving that at the same value, ps4 is the desire product. Microsoft need to have the xbox one cheaper if it want a chance at winning. Unfortunately, I doubt the ps4 deal would stay much longer.

im talking about how the PS4 outsold the X1 after both of them had a price of 400 dollars, and watchdogs was released before that so it has no place in this discussion, and Destiny came out in september (what about july, october,august, june?), so you are telling me that momentum was the only reason why the PS4 outsold the X1 in all the other months from june to october?...  ok i will respect that opinion but i disagree entirely, i think  that being able to get the most powerfull hardware with the better multiplats at the same price is a better reason.

also why didnt the X1 outsold the PS4 in the months that it had Co-marketing deals with COD (which is a bigger franchise that Destiny) and in the month that it had co-marketing deals with Madden?, we all know that co-marketing deals DO indeed help increase sales, so why didnt the X1 outsold the PS4 in those months?, you say its because of momentum but i dont think that momentum can beat something like a co-marketing deal with COD, i would say again that having a better hardware with the better multiplats at the same price is a bigger reason.

Momentum is a way to say market percepetion. The old tale "I will buy the console my friends are playing on". Beating the PS4 with no big exclusive games untill November would be an incredible feat.

Also, the PS4 all good will, not aways online and stuf, has been fading over the months.The vocal perception that the XOne was a slap in face of gamers and the PS4 was the redimeer was still strong by E3 2014.

Any way, it´s much more complicated than that price could have been the most important reason for the PS4 early lead and know the XOne resurgency. But will it remain in the next year?
