Ok maybe not that bad. In terms of vocal users I think its about equal.

I honestly could not pick one. I like PC too much to have a favorite home console atm. In the past I was a Nintendo and Sega fanboy. I then moved to Sony, and PS2 era I liked all the consoles immensely. But since PS2 was dominating it got more games. Wii-360-PS3 were equally bad to me throughout with the Wii dropping hard in the late years.

I pick PC :P.

 

Edit: Also this thread has been done many times before with no clear results.

Results should be very clear in the poll.

I myself am a Sony fan but also like Nintendo (and Sega).

I started with a Sega Master System as a little six old boy, liked it a lot!
Went for the PS1 after it, fall in love with it.
GBA was the next, spent so much time with it!
PS2 was the one after it, not dissapointed at all with keeping with Sony.
Same with the PS3 after it.

I haven't onwed them, but the Sega Mega Drive, Super Nintendo and the Gameboy were big part of my childhood too, the first was from my cousin (who was also my neighbour), the later was from my best friend (also my neighbour), the last was from aother friend (my neighbour as well, lol).
I've played some N64 and 360 as well, but not that much. Wii only recently (last year).

My passion went from Sonic to Pokemon to The Legend of Dragoon and stopped there xD

Right now I'm mainly on my PS3 together with 3 other friends (all of them crazy to get a PS4 xD), and I'll probably keep with it like this until later next year (unless the hype consumes me, or Sony bless me with another LoD in the neantime, lol).

I'm really looking foward to Final Fantasy 15, Bloodborne, Disgaea 5, Uncharted 4 and Metal Gear Solid 5 right now, but The new Zelda and Scalebound are also getting my attention so I hope for the best to all of them

And I really hope that tomorrow I have at least one more thing to look foward xD

Great post, This was what I was looking for. A nice story of a person's enjoyment in gaming. Awesome, Thanks for the read.

Now I understand people own more then one console but you do have a favorite out of the group, so which one is it? As you all know or don't, I own both Wiiu and XBox One. Which is the exact same as last gen for me.  However Xbox One is my favorite out of the 2, although Nintendo holds a special place in my heart ever since childhood. I also recently picked up a Atari 2600, as I also played a lot of their games as a kid too.

Going by past polls and community observation it's always been Nintendo > Sony > Microsoft in terms of numbers ...

Sony just LOOKS like the most favoured console manufacturer AGAINST Microsoft when you account that there are other fanbase's further skewing the view such as a fair share of Nintendo fans preferring Sony console's as their secondary.

By the way favorite console of all time is PS2. Of the current gen consoles it would be the Xbox One (might change to PS4 depending on what games PS4 gets in the long run)
