I decided to make this poll to see who is the minority/majority fan base here on VGchartz. I'm pretty sure Xbox One fans are the minority,  however I never got a actual count. I'm sure Sony is by far the favored system of choice for people on VG.  This could all be wrong, hence the thread.  So whats your favorite console? and what about that console that makes you love it so much?

After all this is why we are here right?

Now I understand people own more then one console but you do have a favorite out of the group, so which one is it? As you all know or don't, I own both Wiiu and XBox One. Which is the exact same as last gen for me.  However Xbox One is my favorite out of the 2, although Nintendo holds a special place in my heart ever since childhood. I also recently picked up a Atari 2600, as I also played a lot of their games as a kid too.

My story of gaming...

Now I did start out as a Nintendo/2600 fan, however out of the 2, I have more time, memories and fun with Nintendo. I can remember playing Ninja Gaiden, Mario Bros, Zelda, Super Metroid etc... These games still give me a great since of Nostalgia. Also should be noted I owned NES and my nieghbor owned the Atari 2600.

I was a big fan of Nintendo up and until the launch of Playstation one. I did however before this own Many Sony products, Walkman, Sony Trinitron etc.... Now I can go on about why I had a change of heart, let's just say they didn't back the products I bought and during the PS2 era, I eventually switched to the original Xbox.

However it wasn't so fast. I was invited over to play the original halo over at a friends house, after this intense night of gaming madness, I had to have a xbox, also the recent change of heart with Sony made the switch that much easier.

I sold off my 3rd PS2, yes 3rd, the first 2 broke and where never replaced by Sony, however I had many games and once I did this, there was no going back. I played Halo non-stop, we hooked system to system, had group battles and game nights over at our apartment.

Then came HALO 2 and Xbox Live. This was the best thing I have experienced in gaming. This month was followed by long nights, no sleep and non-stop gaming. All of my friends where out of their minds with this game. even though the PS2 was running circles around Xbox, we didn't track sales back then and didn't care. This game was considered by us to be the king of gaming.

Ever since then, I have not turned back. However I did own every single Nintendo system, accept the Gamecube, as I was to consumed with Ps2, then Xbox.

I do think the Majority is a toss up between Nintendo and Sony fans however Xbox fans are certainly the minority (although, PC fans are the minority minority). If we are talking specifically console wise, the ps4 is the majority and idk the minority

As for me, I own a wiiU and one day, I might get a ps4 depending on the jrpgs

Oh and the polls aren't really reflective of the community since there are soo many lurkers!

Hmm given recent years, I would say Sony fans majority and xboxone fans minority.

There are ALOT of Nintendo fans on Vgchartz so I am going with Wii U for majority and XB1 for minority

Yeah, Nintendo or Sony. Right now, I think I'd give an edge to Nintendo.

Just based on polls which involve anything Nintendo, you can clearly tell that there are a BUNCH of nintendo fans in vgchartz, a lot of them just lurk though. Even if they just lurk around, nintendo fans are the majority.
