What a coincidence. I just watched it on that channel.

OT, I wouldn't overgeneralize on white police officers. That being said, I do believe that these "officers of the law" justify their brutality with phrases like "I did it to defend the citizen" or "I did my job".. There's a saying: "Excuses only satisfy the person who makes them". At the end of the day, the trust I have for police officers in general vanishes. And when anyone of them tries to cleanse the police image by saying "We're not all bad" I just can't believe them. Might sound silly, but I feel more uneasy when a police officer stands by my side.

I could agree that American police officers are above the law. I'm not sure that it's only the white ones....

Ferguson is one thing to have "grey area" uncertainty, but this is pretty clear-cut. We are in trouble as a nation.

You know.. In my country we don't usually wrestle down a person who gets arrested.. The cops like ask politly to put your arms up and then one of them goes around you asking to lower your arms behind your back.. Our cops try to talk before actually take action which endangers more people..

The man sold sigarets.. And there are like 7 cops around him.. I think there is something wrong with the training and image of the us police.. Its not like " they are protecting us" but more "damn they are watching us"

Yep! Like others I can't say it applies only to white officers but clearly the system designed to protect the police even when they've acted recklessly. Luckily people are taking a stand and I think we'll see them becoming held to account sooner rather then later

If there's one thing I hate, it's when people make sweeping generalizations.

I would say the police union is above the law, just like most all unions are. Nothing to do with the race of said individual police officer.

It's like a scene out of "Do The Right Thing."
