Hi there!

I'm making this topic to discuss what would you want Nintendo to add to the Wii U. For me, seeing as we already have folders, I want them to add themes, mainly the black one, because it looks awesome on the 3DS and update the Wii U chat to be able to chat without video/chat during a game (Also party chat).

What about you guys?

I want a better messaging system, ability to play Wii games without going into Wii mode, media playback via USB, ability to save content from the web to the HDD.

I'll think of more when I get home.

I just want them to expand the VC. Its pretty pathetic as of right now...

I think it would be really awesome if we could get the Gamecube controllers to be compatible with VC games. I also wish there was a better friend system, a better messaging system, parties with chat (basically like the Xbox). And then the usual shit: an account system. It just can't be that difficult and it would benefit everyone so much.

Themes would be sweet! I also want the ability to move save files to other Wii U system without formatting it. I'm sure my system won't die anytime soon although it glitches when pressing home with some apps (netflix...). It's also nice to just bring a harddrive around instead of the whole system if a friend already has the game even though the system is really small. A music or even a music radio app would be awesome as well.

It would also be cool if there was a "streetpass" for Wii U whenever you encounter another player in an online game or maybe even in the Mii wara plaza.

Expand VC and allow US to change our profile country

Gamecube controllers for VC would be quite nice. But they'd need to release more adapters first since I don't have one :(

Better friends/messaging (though it's gotten better of course), and the ability to play Wii games without Wii mode (Like GC games on Wii). Other than that I'm fine, I enjoy their menu a lot, it's very easy to navigate especially with the touchpad.

This. Also, they have a official GameCube adaptor now, they should add back GC support, and of course, I would really like to see Wii games in native 1080p or at least 720p upscaling, I mean, just look at the Dolphin emulator...

They could easily team up with Spotify or Deezer to make this possible, seeing as they already have Hulu and Netflix, this shouldn't be too hard to do.

I think it would be cool to add an achievement system like the xbox or playstation but instead of gamerscore its like coins or something.
