PS4: November 16th 2013 - January 3rd 2015 = 15,087,310 (as of November 22nd)

With 6 weeks left, the PS4 has to sell an average of 802.000 units per week, for it to best Wii's first year results, and with Black Friday and Christmas coming up, I say it is bound to happen.

PS4 is currently tracking higher, than what Wii did Holiday 2007, here is a comparison.

 We are also talking about the Wii, which was the fastest selling gaming device ever during it's first few years. PS4 is going to be tracked behind the Wii for at least the first couple years. Once we hit the point where the Wii took it's unfortunate nosedive, PS4 will be back on top. 

By years end, PS4 will be the fastest selling "gaming device". 

Certainly didn't think it would be able to keep up that easily. What's even scarier is that it already has aligned the next giant releases for Q1 to keep the sales going.
