I really want Dragon Quest Heroes but we won't get it. When Dragon Quest XI is revealed, it'll take #2 or even #1.

Ye damn since when we don't have a main Dragon Quest game that is on home console and not a MMO ? it's like since DQ8 8-9 years ago?

I think Japan is ready for the DQ11 Announcement, go SQ EX! (and I'm sure it will get that famitsu's top spot.)

For some reason I think the "real" video game market is vanishing in Japan, if we look at current sales, even the most popular gaming device over there, the 3DS is not selling that much... no home console is selling in significant number either, my guess is VGChartz will replace "Japan" with "rest of the world" soon and show us how they can approximate it.

I hope they have good sources for the numbers.

You can see why everyone naturally expects big things from it, even on PS4's currently small install base.

But it's still not a dragon quest, we need to wait to know how mch it will sell. could be either a success or a failure.

Game is practically a lock for 500k. The Musou fanbase is on playstation and DQ is one of the most popular IPs in Japan. It's got a lot going for it.

The point i brought up is that there is no way the japanese arent excited for Xenoblade X. Especially since they are about FFXV and their aestethics are similar. As in open world action combat with lots of vistas. I am a JRPG fan and i find them both extremely appealing. Having played Xenoblade i can also tell that Xenoblade X is gonna end up beeing the better game despite graphic comparisons.

Maybe they are planning on buying a PS4 anyways, hence looking forward to FFXV, but have no plans on buying a Wii U so no interest in its games.

@bolded I can tell FFXV is going to end up being the better game since FFXIII>Xenoblade
