The Last of Us got a month delay. The presidents of ND also said that hadn't they announced the release date for Uncharted 3 so early it would've gotten delayed.

I don't mind. It will be glorious.

I could see Uncharted 4 getting pushed to 2016 because we really haven't seen anything of it. There's plenty coming out in 2015 though so its no biggie if we don't get Uncharted until the year after.

I still think it'll release November 2015.

There're other ways to try and ensure that a game meets a release date, hiring more manpower for example. There's always the possibility of something unforeseen happening that makes a game miss its release date, but Sony is going to do what they can for that to not happen to Uncharted 4.

Next holiday is still a long ways off so this doesn't really say anything other than what we already know. And of course they are gonna be polishing animation still. They will be polishing/tweaking/tuning, up until release so that should be a given.

Seriously, they showed a CG cutscene at that point that was unashamedly not gameplay. It was clearly a ways off.
