Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Titanfall Should Stay Xbox One Console Exclusive

You really don't like you're fellow PS4 gamers do you? Why would you want to deny them a fun multiplayer experience like Titanfall?

Eh I got a TF bundle just for TF and it was pretty bad. I ended up returning the console cause it was just way worse then I thought. It clearly has potential though and I wish I could try that no bot mode.

You mean MS is known for the ShooterBox

I think Microsoft should seal the deal with Titanfall. In everyones' eyes the franchise is tied to Xbox One. Titanfall is one of those franchises that just feels right next to Halo, Gears, Call of Duty. I would love it if Microsoft announces Titanfall 2 next year with better graphics, single player, co-op, increased player count, and horde mode. Beta next Christmas. Who's with me?? Microsoft is known for having franchises that sell 5 million + with every installment, this can be one of them.

Too many shooters and action games among the Microsoft IP's catalog, I think. In their minds, Titanfall is simply good to wait a little until the release of the next Halo, but not more. It's look like an aperitif, in some way. Apart from that, Microsoft is known for having a pinch of franchises who sell very good, very fast (Halo, Gears of War, Forza, Fable). But finally, these franchises are losing speed for some time (like God of War, Gran Turismo, LittleBigPlanet, Infamous, Killzone and all the other things for Sony, except Uncharted maybe, and The Last of Us, who seems to have a bright future). So they need to renew themselves, and purchase Tifanfall IP is probably not the best solution. More colorful universes, less first degree action. This is what they need, particularly for European market and other audiences.

All Titanfall needs is a story. I dont care if it goes multiplat.

titanfall should stay an xbox exclusive and titanfall 2 should be canceled.

Ea are stupid if they don´t release it on ps4, all their recent released games have sold better on ps4. Only Dragon age and Battlefield left. The fact that they secured the sequel instead of Microsoft, its given it will be on ps4 also.

I won´t be suprised if Titanfall 2 goes and sells more on ps4 also.

I thought Battlefield 4 sold more on the PS4?

everything sold more on ps4

You are almost right with titanfall. But I think Microsoft should stop doing consoles at all. That would be even better.
We need new player. Samsung IE.
Microsoft is bad.

There is a no bot mode.

Titanfall already has a horde mode.

Titanfall is a vastly improved game since its launch.  Its update last month was massive.

Does not affect me in anyway which console this game is on.

They already have Halo, make new IP's or revisit ones you havent touched in a while MS.

To keep it "MS exclusive"(I assume that is what you mean) would probably cost way too much, though I wouldnt put it past MS to blow the money anyways. I dont think the game is that good/unique to bring more Sony only people into the MS ecosystem.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Its not worth keep it exclusive. MS are better off using that money to create their own exclusives.
