"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

"Transistor" is top-notch. "Nano Assault Neo" is a blast! Just picked up "Shovel Knight" today - fantastic as well. "Bastion" and "Limbo" were a pair of faves last-gen.

Hotline Miami (which is also the best game I've ever played, period).

Ditto, Hotline Miami is one of the best games ever made.

Hotline Miami, Cave Story, Cthulu Saves the World, One Way Heroics, and Spelunky.

Most have been terrible, a few mentioned in this very thread imo, but the ones I've listed above are pretty awesome.

Braid, Dust: An Elysian Tail, and Hotline Miami were my 3 fav indie games from this past gen.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
