Here I though you would be greatful of the fact that I din't bring up Forza 5 which actually did come out for the Xbox one launch (in case you didn't know this is when driveclub was suppose to release) and Forza Horizon 2 which is by far the better game when compared to Driveclub.


OK it's obvious you have an agenda... Last of us is better then anything on xbox.... See two can make sweeping Generalizations.

The problem isn't the hype it's when they're releasing.... in low selling period and with other great title that will diminish their overall sales impact. Beside some PS4 will simply wind buying the game used or play them with share play and both exclusive will have less significant sales. Depends when Quantum Break release..... Tomb Raider we know will be in Holiday and will be peg as Xbox One's Uncharted.

I'm saying the hype on Bloodborne is because of exclusivity.... more PS4 owner will wind up buy Witcher 3 .... If Sony had any sense they would stager the release.... But has of right now all four Evolve, Bloodborne, The Order: 1886 & Witcher 3 are set to release in February.

Im more amused by the fact his comment is completely irrelevant to what I said...he can't argue my point so he just pulls out the "original" Xbot argument "Forza is better than Driveclub" even though I never mentioned either of those lol

i cant believe you're so vehemently asserting the existense/importance of multiplatform games only to then dismiss it in regards to PS4's holiday 2014, which ironically also has exclusive games.

Halo MMC will be Xbox one best selling game this holiday season.

You cant ignore the impact of these exclusive.

The fact that Order:1886 and Bloodborne release in the same month is already clawing away at each other potential sales. PS4 is going to have 10-12 great titles release in that  period and most gamers will only buy 2-3 games. The inpact of both these exclusives going up against evolve and Witcher 3 is going be great dimisniss expecially in a slower Q1 buying period. 

I'm sure that next year when Uncharted release it will be the biggest exclusive and best selling let's just hope it doesn't get delayed and give you guy another amazing February 2016.

Sunset Overdrive releases one week before all the big holiday titles and that's ok, but the Order and Bloodborne releasing in the same month as 2 other semi big games is suddenly a huge problem? Did you even remotely think this thread through?

October vs February..... I'm pretty sure games do better in October.

The Witcher 3 is going to be GOTY in the year Uncharted 4 is released?

Why did you bold Witcher, batman and Evolve, have they become exclusives?

and why did you list Crackdown 3 in 2015? they only showed a pre-rendered teaser and I only heard official info about it being a 2016 game so far...

More seriously, well played, now exclusives do not count, because they are not XB1 exclusives... or Phil did not approve of these games, they cannot be fun (real MS trademarked fun, not the fake Sony kind of fun).

The real point is, if you like the Witcher 3 or Game Xyz make threads for them, then gauge the reactions.

As far as these two PS4 games go:

The order: reactions are kind of mixed at best, I doubt the hype level is amazingly high.

Bloodborne: This game could be it, everyone who played it seems to be pretty happy, even me, a faster paced Soul game? this is the best thing ever...

The other big hitters for Feb 2015:

I am no fan of the Witcher games, and I was not excited by the combat I have seen in the new one so far, I like the world, but the characters seem a bit strange and detached from it, the animation is certainly not "next gen"but it will attract a large swat of gamers for sure, like skyrim, shadow of mordor, etc.

Evolve is a heavily multi-player focused game, this is of zero interest to me.

Also, do not assume these are the only big titles for the PS4 early in the year, Rime, Tomorrow Children, No Man's Sky will be sprinkled throughout the year... and many others (I am not good at lists).

Add to this the multipaltform titles that are better on PS4 and you have a pretty interesting list of games that has plenty of variety ...
