Forums - Gaming Discussion - Games you were terrible at but loved anyway

Sim City 2000, I can never get a city to last very long but love to try over and over. I think i did once lol. Mortal Kombat and most racing games also.

Not a console game, but Defender. Spent all my money on playing it as a kid, never got good at it. Played it earlier this year at the South Coast Slam, and I'm still crap at it

oh shit I remember that game. Its the side scrolling space ship shooter right from like the early 90s.

Age of empires. Could not even handle moderate dificulty without being crashed by cpu. Still the best rts i ever played.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

Damn im getting old

RPG's. Period.

I'm am just not smart enough/don't have the patience to figure out the deeper mechanics needed to do well. They're fun though, until I get to a point in the game where I can't continue because I suck too bad and all I know how to do is attack and cast simple spells.
