Forums - Gaming Discussion - Assassin’s Creed: Unity – Bullshots VS. In-game graphics comparison

the shots taken aren't good for such a comparison.

Only one shot seems comparable and thats the one of the crowd. I know (knowing ubisoft) that there will be a heavy downgrade but these shots don't make for the fairest examples of such.

Ah well, I have long since said I am not gonna buy this game brand new, at best I will buy it used. And every little thing I see or hear of the game helps justify that choice. Now with PSshare maybe I can even get away with not even buying the game used at all.

There has to be at least one person i know that will let me share play the entire game from them :)

People here are so quick to call it a downgrade when most of those scenes aren't even comparable ?!

Sheesh, tough crowd in here ...

Well, atm, Ubisoft is the cool thing to hate right now. Be quiet and just grab a pitchfork!

That was my first thought too.

Well, no good comparison shots, but the "after" screenshots don't look good for a PS4 game. But they may be heavily compressed, there's no reason to be so blurry.

No wonder that the PC version needs a GTX 680 minimum... Poor omtimization everywhere.

Still looks damm good to me

Pre-ordered it yesterday

I see no such thing as a "massive" downgrade. And what's your problem with the Interior shot? Seriously, it does look inferior, but to say it's now horrible or GTA3 quality (lol) is absurd.

At this point people just see it's Ubisoft and decide the downgrade is Watch Dogs-style, even when it's not.

tbh there are differences but in comparison to the bullshots from Forza/Gran Turismo no game will ever ever compete with them :D

@mr slob it just looks completely flat, (the carpet) even the points where light beams are shining on what should be ripples up from it the light is not being effected by the bumps on it, breaks the illusion that you aren't looking at the super realistic floor seen in the before shot, that is almost lifelike.

Both shots are FAR from realistic in my eyes ...

The only stand out thing about the floor are it's glossy reflections and a lot of games do that ...

Just made this from the site. A huge downgrade. How can people miss it?

Still some amazing graphics. At least it's nowhere near the horrible bullshots from Watch Dogs.

Now I'm hoping for the gameplay to be much better too and I'm a happy guy.

Yes, changing a texture must be a huge downgrade when dat sub surfaace scattering is still present ...
