Forums - Sales Discussion - Playstation Vita > WiiU shipments past 2 quarters

The Vita has outshipped the Wii U quite a few times but vgchartz don't give a phuck, they will adamantly hold on to the belief WiiU>>>Vita like they adamantly believed Xbone was outselling PS4 in America until they gave up after 6 months.

Wii U is dead... My prediction is that PS TV will be a dud

PSN & XBOX GT : cutzman25

I'd assume part of that is due to the PS TV launch.

So I assume VGC is screwing with us again with 0 PS TV's sold? No change in sales since its release :/ I doubt it sold that well, but not that badly.

Rounded to the nearest thousand.  PStv is a disaster.  shoud have been aborted.

It's a decent idea, just really poorly handled. I don't see why they can't get 1080p so you could use it as a media player to compete with the Apple TV, Fire TV, Nexus Player, Roku and the list goes on

With Vita games avaiable it could have been very good, but they didn't give it good enough internals and they didn't give it good enough software

It's a shame. I may buy one at some point to let me use my PS4 away from my PS4 (if both ends are wired it should be good enough right?). But it was a good idea, poorly executed

I'm surprised about that but I think they are overestimating the sales of the Vita during the holidays. There will be an oversupply of stock.

they = Sony?

You know that retailers have to order the stock, right? I doubt they'd order holiday stock in July-Sept

Yeah, I mean Sony.

Well that's true, but since they launched PS TV, how would retailers know how much stock to order for that?

Yeah, I mean Sony.

It's quite easy to estimate based on interest in Vita games, pre-orders of the system and/or polls.

That's true but this is different to the vita. Its not a handheld and is an all in one entertainment device.

It was an attempt at a cash grab on over ordered vita parts.    Thats about it really.

That would make more sense if it hadn't left Japan surely?

You're right about it not being a handheld but everything else is the same except it supports controllers and has fewer games than Vita.
They could've looked at Ouya sales as well
