Look at top sellers for October. $10, $20, $50 & $100 are all in the top 6. Sony is absolutely winning with digital cash. There is no way people are not buying a lot digital be it full games or DLC. I think people are under estimating digital.

Oh they majorly are.  I remember KZ:SF was like 33% digital.

why would K:SF be so high? The game is not amazing just your average decent shooter.

One year in PS4, I still have zero discs... All digital. And I am one of those adding to the Amazon rankings...

I buy digital to hide my game purchases from the Mrs.

Why is what so high?  Digital sales of SF or sales in general?

I am sure they are not small, but PS Cash cards have been purchased in large doses for a long time due to:

1. Delays in bringing them out in Europe, leading to large pent up demand.

You can't use the US cards in Europe...

I know. I meant that when they finally arrived people bought them by the truckload.

I'm confused... Where has what finally arrived? And what do US Amazon and US cards have to do with demand in Europe?

You just try too hard to downplay any Sony success, why is it so hard to accept a simple fact from the OP - Sony cards are constant bestsellers, meaning PSN digital content sells incredibly well...

2. Sony's perceived appalling ability to protect your credit card details.

Why Sony need to bring US cards to Europe?

The second point is true... most people don't like to use credit card or paypal... I'm one of the guys that buy PS cards.

BTW I agree with the OP... digital sales increased a lot after PS4 too.

Word of advice. When you're confused, and you know it, don't assume someone is doing something wrong and adopt an accusatory tone.

I am talking about when PSN cards were not available in Europe (on the PS3) and they finally launched...resulting in pent-up demand, and high sales on relevant Amazon stores.

Given this was years ago, it has absolutely nothing to do with the PS4, or Sony's success.
