Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Latest Nintendo release schedule, million sellers list

is it wrong that I'm hyped as hell for Devil's Third? Seems like everyone was bashing on that game and I absolutely loved it...

Anyway, Zelda, Devil's Third, Splatoon, Xenoblade X and Star Fox are day one for me. And I'm the kind of person o rarely buys day one. Oh, and if Nintendo surprise us with a Metroid in 2015... I'll go crazy. Even if it was a prime trilogy remake, I would love it...

Super Smash Bros  3.22 Millions; Tomodachi Life 3.1 millions; Mario Kart 8: 3.49 millions; Pokemon X/Y: 13 millions

Ok, so digital sales really represent now A LOT of Nintendo sales.

According to VG Chartz:  Physical copy sales - Super Smash Bros 2.7 million; Tomodachi Life 2.6 millions; Mario Kart 8: 2.74 millions; Pokemon X/Y: 11 millions

Sure Nintendo games still sell like crazy. And people wants to speculate over physical copy sales........ they´re not enough anymore. We need a chart of digital sales with urgency!

Nothing wrong with looking forward to something. :) I'm cautiously optimistic about Devil's Third myself, the combination of first person shooting and third person melee combat has potential.

Those sales figures are shipped. So they also include the unsold copies still sitting on store shelves, which will be some of the discrepancy as well.

Agreed, but even so, digital is getting bigger and bigger, and it'll reach a point where VGC's physical copy charts will lose relevance, if it hasn't begun to do so already.

So everthing has either huge digital sales, or sales of these games are once again undertracked. That Pokemon number is almost 1.5m (!) higher than what VGC claims...

You know this is shipped right?

just look at the SSB 3DS. They announced 2,8 million SOLD at the 7th of november, yet here it is at 3,2 million.

It's shipped.

I know, but that would still mean a million sales are digital, which I think is a lot. I'm not sure. Sadly there will be no way to know .
