So happy for all the people who didn't have a 3DS until now and are buying the new version. They suffered for so long of not having a 3DS.

nice hold for new 3ds. Hopefully, the mario kart 8 bundle can jolt the wii u back into life support. Evil withing is a little dissapointing

PS3 version is what happend. It won't be a system seller if it's cross gen. Especially in Japan.

The only thing higher than last year is Wii U. I think that needs to be taken into consideration. But people will even spin ~100k hardware sold in a week into something bad.

Nice hold for 3DS and MH4. Yōkai Watch 2 dropped a bit more than I'd have expected, but I guess with 2.5 coming along I should have. Still pretty amazing how well it's selling so many weeks in.

Normal thing to happen before new bundles are released.

MK8 bundles come out Nov 13 in Japan, same day as Captain Toad. 

3DS has been trending badly in Japan all year vs 2013, but the gap has actually been narrowing since the release of the New 3DS models.  Nintendo will have a really nice holiday in all territories.  MK8 bundles will help, and the double whammy of Smash & Captain Toad will stimulate hardware sales.   3DS obviously will do well because of Smash continuing to sell, and Pokemon releasing right near Black Friday in the US.

Disappointing sales for The Evil Within.

Wow, 3DS is doing it incredible in Japan. Poor Vita, even in Japan is struggling now.

3DS holding very well! Wii U half of PS4, will it dip into the same lows as last year around this time (3k and just below)? If so, then we're basically back to square one after MK, Bayo 2, Hyrule and other things that were to ensure good momentum for Q4.

Xbox One; nothing much to say, when I said it would perform worse than the 360 a long time ago, I can honestly say that it is the most confident I have ever been in a prediction in my entire life. Fish out of water.

Evil Within did okay, let's see how it holds though. MK 8 on track for a ridiculous attach rate and lifetime sales as usual...
