Download, but I assume its downloaded as originally it said "downloading" where as now it says "installing".

And too right, im onto the 3rd episode of An American Horror Story which I had been meaning to watch for some time (season 1, no spoilers please).

Fortunatly I didnt plan on playing SO tonight (just as well!) so dont mind the install time (as ridiculous as it is!). But if I was waiting to play and its taken now approaching 3 hours to install I would be pissed! 

EDIT: after googling, someone else who bought the White XO with SO packag has been installing it for 4 hours and is only at 50%!!! im beginning to doubt I it will be ready tomorrow never mind today!!!

My SO from disc was ready to play 3 min in. Don't know how long it took to actually finish tho.

Just checked back and Titanfall was at 99% and just completed!

Its now moved onto the next game, and this time it never said "downloading" just "installing" so I am lead to assume the downloads are all done, its just the actual installation taking up the time.

Mine was a download with a code. Maybe if playing from disc it just puts its the essential then can run off the disc? (I dunno) 

Anyway it finished doing titanfall and is now doing fifa 14 - which after just a couple of minutes is at 5% so I reckon at that rate will be done in around 10-15 minutes. So obviously some games dont take as long as others

Hasnt quite finished yet, but here are the times it has taken to install since I setup my new XO (rounded off as been watching American Horror story, on episode 8 now!)

Titanfall - about 3-4 hours

Fifa 14 - max of 90 minutes

Sunset Overdrive - Reckon 2 hours max (its at 68% now so taken that time from the time its taken to reach that)

My best guess is that Titanfall took so long due to it being an older game and more patches/updates have been released for it. Read somewhere it takes so long because it installs those first

I bought Sunset Overdrive on day one. I also had it pre ordered since September.

This game downloaded pretty quick from disc, at about 20% it said it was ready to play. I just let it fully install. it was all done in under 30 minutes. That included the day one patch, and all the extra content costumes, and weapons.

I really do enjoy Insomniac games, It feels very much like a Playstation game to me. I think if any PS4 owners tried this game, they would actually enjoy it, if they could look past that it's on the X1. I have both systems so I just play games, I don't care about all the nonsense between the 2.
