Really, Ubisoft? Is your game so horribly optomized that it requires (at MINIMUM) a god damn Radeon 7970 (a very high end GPU) to run? This is just bullshit, and I am seriously pissed off at Ubisoft right now. First they gimped the PS4 version, now they release a completely unoptimized PC port? Did they learn nothing from Watch Dogs and AC4?

Very much considering boycotting this game, as much as I love Assassin's Creed. This kind of shit from developers should not be tolerated, period.

Minimum PC Specs:

  • Intel Core i5-2500K @ 3.3 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz or AMD Phenom II x4 940 @ 3.0 GHz processor
  • 6 GB RAM
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon HD 7970 (2 GB VRAM) video card

Recommended PC Specs:

  • Intel Core i7-3770 @ 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz or better processor
  • 8 GB RAM
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 or AMD Radeon R9 290X (3 GB VRAM) video card

most devs are lazy with pc port.They assume people can improve their hardware if the game is not running well.

Ubi is the king of lazy ports though....

I'm just so f*cking mad right now. I have a 7970 in my PC back home, but while at my university I have to use a laptop with a 750m. It can play almost every game at high, even recent ones like Shadow of Mordor, but this is just insanity! Ubisoft is trying to break their record for laziest PC port. It's absolutely disgusting, and impossible to run for me unless I am at home. So disappointed right now.

I wasn't in it before, but I'm joining the f*ck Ubisoft bandwagon now.

ACU seems poorly optimized in general. These PC requirements are particularly awful though. A R290X or GTX780 as the recommend GPU? Fuck that nonsense.

After the first asscreed had their mandatory online DRM. I went to nopeville asap with ubisoft games and never looked back... If a ps4 has roughly a 7850 with a low ghz 8 core cpu, there is no way in tits do games need a fucking 680 + i5 2500k to run this shit even if the consoles have a low level api compared to windows! Speically when games that require a lot less look a lot better!

Heck, at this point, I would be surprised if they are doing this for parity lolll. If you dont want debates and stuff, just make it poorly optomized as fuck to prevent debates and stuff, right ubisoft? A bunch of retarded goats, thats all that company is

Agreed. It wouldn't even faze me right now if the poor optomization on PS4 and abominable optomization on PC is due to some parity shit they have going. This is just maddening, and they should be held accountable.
