Maybe Destiny is stealing Call of duty sale

Halo MCC outselling COD AW Xbox One handily for every month since their announcement = less than half the total preorders? Seems legit!

The retailers probably have to cancel those The Last Guardian pre-orders and change them to PS4.

TLG's presence is proof of just how unreliable these pre-order charts really are..

I would well believe the COD decline.
I got into COD on the PS2.
Like COD3 on the PS3.
COD4 was then my fav shooter of all time.
Didn't really like WAW.
Loved MW2 nearly as much as COD4.
Black Ops was decent.
MW3 was worse than MW2.
Black Ops 2 was it for me really.
Ghost the final nail in the coffin but my friend loaned me it.
AW I will not be getting anytime soon and will likely loan it off a friend.

At this stage they need to make a MW Collection to get me back in. The problem is they released it every year and not every 2 years. If games like GTA did that they'd suffer the same fate. Yet GTA will keeping saelling 30-40M long after COD is gone. 

They really needed to expand the game mechnaics. Like COD4 was amazing because you could shoot through walls. Why couldn't they bring in proper destrctable environments and drivable/flyable killstreaks. It's not like BF where they need to make a massive map. Destructable envoronemnts could have been done to a very high standard on the small maps and the graphics should be a lot better than they are. COD4 was incredible compared to most other games. New cods nowadays are meh. 

Looking at the chart again, they stealth edited the numbers with higher numbers across the board:

XOne - 186k before, 257k now
PS4 - 112k before, 192k now
360 - 134k before, 185k now
PS3 - 60k before, 83k now

Yet even with those adjustments, the highest AW numbers still don't reach the lowest Ghosts numbers from this time last year. That's especially troubling with the next-gen consoles as the install base across both is way higher now. No way can Destiny mitigate a huge drop like that IMO.

Welp according to the updated pre-order charts Smash Bros Wii U was heavily undertracked
