I don't understand the hate for standard cars. You don't have to play with them and you still have 600+ premium cars.

About prize cars being só good. You can always buy cheaper and less powerfull car to have more chalenge. Regarding damage I never gone to a race intending to destroy a car so if you want to be a good driver this mechanic won't affect you because if you don't hit anyone (as you are supposed in real racing) no damage is necessary. Now if you are a bad pilot and complain about lack of damage then you would be pissed about destroying all your cars in the game.

Yeah, I don't understand the problem with standard cars either, nor does cutting down the amt of already premium cars they have.  I like playing with shitboxes, and they come in handy when you're learning/relearning courses, and variety is great for many of the lower class races.

I'm really happy PD will likely keep the standard cars. Some of my favorite cars are standards and I'd be really bummed if we lost them because some people don't think I should get to use them even though they don't have to use them.

Oh, and more big updates coming to GT6 according to Kaz. Super pumped.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

It's not even up for debate in my honest opinion.

600 Premium + 500 Standard
vs
650 Premium

I'd easily pic option 1.

4 ≈ One

Ha, that would be quite a stunt. Permanent damage, realistic repair and towing costs. It worked for ETS2. And let's add the hospital bill for the driver and permanent death, start over, in hardcore mode. That will teach you how to drive :)
Then Chris Roberts comes along to sell you insurance through micro transactions...

I never knew Turn 10 was three times bigger than Polyphony. That is insane, I'd think it is the other way around. Polyphony digital seems really understaffed to me considering that Gran Turismo is a much bigger series (or used to be, we will see how it will do with the GT7).

Gran Turismo is a car collecting game and driving simulator.

The racing is just bullshit. There are no races in GT. The AI is horrendous and there is no real competition. Either your car is too weak or OP. If they don't fix that I won't care about graphics and shit, I won't care about GT at all.

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

It is a pretty easy decision.

a) 600 cars without standard cars
b) 1200 cars with standards cars

I will take b every time.

That is a reason why Forza 5 have only 200 cars and Turn 10 is close to three times the size of PD.

Wikipedia disagrees.

I'm confident GT7 will have an Open World Mode, and it will wow us again.

I would surely Love if all cars were Premium without taking content out, but I preffer to have all skylines and evos even on Standard than not having them. And also preffer to have they working in new cars than taking time on improving legacy stuff.

never saw people complain to take out bc or legacy code on Windows xp. But sure myself and a lot of people complained about vista taking support for some graphical tools and making several engineerring sw impossible to use, or Windows 8 ending all access to dos.

but i would Love if they brought back hillclimb and downhill.
