Lame! PC version it is, unless they lock that too.

Maybe they will to avoid all the debates and stuf.

Absolutely agree, I think its better off this gen is to improve AI in games, instead of demanding 1080p (next gen will be a focus to 4k gaming) as that is what is holding back this gen, the 1080p number, fact is I prefer 900p or 720p but have a game with improved AI, larger draw distances, and larger crowds and more immersive worlds than 1080p but everything dumbed down!

Wanting 900p or even 720p for larger draw distances is quite possibly one of the dumbest things I've ever read on any site, not just gaming.

Those are just one of my statements, and how is that a bad thing, you thing robot like AI and crappy textures but 1080p is good, than thats your opinion, but definently not mine.

It is a bad thing because at that resolution all you see will be jaggies. If anything at 720p it is better to have shorter draw distances.

AI has almost nothing to do with the resolution. One of them is CPU related while the other one depends on the GPU. Unless you do GPGPU, and none of the consoles do. PS4 is also much better suited to GPGPU processing.

JUst looking at some benchmarks, I can't link right now but google is your friend :-p shows the PS4 ahead of the XB1, again Dev's that actually work with the hardware also have been saying this aswell.

Please link. That would be new to me that the PS4 CPU is somehow superior to the X1's. Haven't seen any dev praising any of the CPUs either. That's probably because they're both shit.

they are amd cpus after all.

and the PC matters this time, seems like the game will be optimist for Nvidia, they talk about nvidia exclusiv graphic features.

that could mean the parity is because the doesnt want to optimise it for amd(consoles run all on amd) because they want the payments from nvidia? that would explain the 900p/30fps.  (the last asscreed look a lot better on

"cheap" nvidia cards than on console or amd cards, anc it run a lot better)

Don't think this has anything to do with NVidia. If anything with Intel :P

I believe the devs when they are saying that the game is very CPU heavy. All previous AC games were too. But this time they overdid it.

I'm pretty sure if they reduced the number of people in the world there would be no parity since the CPU resources would be free to feed the GPUs and there would be a natural gap between the graphics again.

the CPU cant be the problem, it will run on an allmost 8 years old intel without problem. its not that demanding if u compare it with other PC games that realy need the cpu power.

and it has nvidia exclusiv graphic features and ubi is working close with nvidia.

and ubi knows that they can get away with poor amd performance, because they dont care if u buy it on xbox or ps(it might benefits em if they sale the game on xbox, could be hat m$ is taking a smaller share of the price than sony)

they will bundle it with nvidia cards like the last one and sale a shitloa of copys to nvidia for that promotion deal...

1.) PC doesn't win, you are not getting the point cause you are trapped in this weird cage that wants to seperate the discussions and no seeing the big picture I'm actually painting.

2.) Yet when PS4 and X1 have parity, people flip their shit and it's the dev's fault, get it yet? Or do you need me to spell out the word "Sarcasm" for you? /wink

You believe what you think true. Same for me. Bye.

Not my fault that you don't have an ironic sense of humor and takes an internet forum super seriously lol. ^_^;

There is no parity with PCs and consoles, PC graphics are unlocked to as powerfull as your hardware is. Exclusive PC games look ages better than consoles games, so Im not quite sure what youre on about.

As someone who was hyped for this game, what a bunch of BS. I'll buy this second hand because Parity is a bunch of BS. Holding back the PS4 just because MS put out an underpowered machine is in no way reasonable.  I'd rather my money go to Gamestop.

Both the machines are well and truly underpowered.

If specs matter enormously just buy it for PC!

Theyre powered enought, if developers decide to actualy optmise things a bit and not spew bulcrap about how theyre AI is so much more advanced than any other AI on the market (wich is a blatant lie) that its bottleknecking even the GPU.

They intentionally held back the PS4 version, and Assassin's Creed controls are a nightmare with a keyboard + mouse.

The console wars doesn't have anything to do with Nvidia. Nobody thinks "OH WOW AMD!" when they pick up their console. It's pretty much a closed market and Nvidia has no game in it. It wouldn't benefit them in the least if some console game runs worse than a PC game with Nvidia because all games on PC run better than consoles no matter the brand of card.

And where are you taking that bolded from? I wouldn't be surprised if I run into a CPU bottleneck on PC with my 3570k. I mean look at the trailers. There is a shitload for the CPU to do. I'm talking RTS proportions.
