I completely agree! Next year will be Wii U's peak year, seriously.

The only thing that worries me is the amount of momentum in the first 3 months after Smash Bros...
There really should have been Xenoblade in the first half. So far its Splatoon, Mario Maker, Yoshi and something else. Middles and end of the year will be huge, and that's without the unannounced stuff or when SMG x FE will launch . We just know it's on track for next year.

Smash + Mk8 will continue to sell aswell.

Only if it sees a major price drop. This year so far it still haven't managed to hit the 2M mark, even though they already have MK8. Without a price drop don't count on it.

Majority of Wii U sales last year was in the holidays.  I think there will be a price drop mid 2015.

Not like i think it would make a big difference in the grand scheme of things, but for the wiiU it will. Nintendo NEEDS to drop the price of the wiiU. Especially before majority of the games its releasing next year. As Flukey said, they still haven't managed 2M for this year. Next year will be even worse, and even if their sales are mostly during the holidays, don't forgt that this is also the first proper shared holiday of all 3 current gen consoles. In addition, even if wiiU did very well by holiday standard, its still looking at selling at best 2-3M consoles during the holiday period (this is being very very very very very gnerous).

I strongly doubt nintendo will want a potential sub 5M year in 2015.

I think many of the long term trends depend on this holiday season

that is true... I am keenly looking at COD:AW sales and halo mcc sales. If the former sells better on the PS4 then next year will be al round bad for the XB1, if the latter moves a lot of consoles for the XB1 this year then halo 5 won't move too many consoles next year.

MS will drop the X1 price to $299 and PS4 will become $349.

Microsoft will definitely have a price drop early 2015. Probably $349 but if they're desperate and holiday numbers are below expectations then I think they could go $299. Sony will probably wait a little longer since they have at least two major exclusives coming 2015 with Bloodborne and The Order. They can hold on to the current price until E3. They should also start bundling 1st party games for free. Dropping the price for WiiU seems pointless since it probably won't help sales and will only hurt Nintendo's profits on every console sold. I think it will stay at $299 for a while.

I'm just another stupid zero alt.

OP actually sounds pretty accurate imho. I believe the US v ROW split for XB1 will only get more extreme in 2015 as it is removed from life support in markets where it is doing horribly.

Its actually more scary when you really think about what it means for XB1 to be losing in the US. Right now they are throwing everything at it, MCC bundles, NFL bundles, a new custom COD bundle with 1TB HDD. If all these don't let them win the US this holiday season then they are in real trouble. Cause all they will really have to fight the PS4 next year will be price drops. And Halo 5. Basically the exact same thing that happened in the PS2 era. And we all know how that ended.

Hmm, some of your predictions could happen, others don't seem so likely.

As far as sales are concerned i think 2015 will be PS4>XOne>3DS>Vita>Wii U>PS3>X360

Wii u  will be over vita

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

People who thin k Halo5 will be juge in systèm seller terme will be disappointed

Halo 3 on the most popular console at this time didnt help as much as destiny PS4, during halo 3 launch, X360 reached only less than half what PS4 sold during destiny launch

It will be a system sellers in usa,xb360 does over 500k in usa when Halo 3 launched
