Does the PS4 has the best library

no, the wii U's library is superior 185 36.49%

no, the X1 is betta 35 6.90%

no, the ouya is in the lead 23 4.54%

yes 227 44.77%

I vote what the mass voted 37 7.30%

Total:507

I mean according to metacritic the PS4 has 39 games above the score of 80, the X1 has 16 and the wii U dispite being 1 full year older has 37 games. Plus the PS4 has the highest rated game this gen. I made a table for those who are visual.

Games above 80 metascore:

Xbox 1 :16

PS4: 39

Wii U: 37

I'm one of those that believe the PS4 is selling on hype and hope but seing the weekly software sales and the rating of released games I'm starting to believe those Sony fans are actually using their PS4 RIGHT NOW to play games.

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Its a combination of good games, hardware, aesthetics, brand recognition and stable PR.

No.
So far, its lineup is staggeringly unappealing. I can't think of a single game that makes me want to buy the system.

You left out a lot of information, like how PS4 came out a week earlier so all the multiplatform launch game reviews came out for PS4 not Xbox One. The "highest rated" game you mentioned, along with many others, are ports from the playstation 3 console, not original to the PS4. Compare triple AAA games and xbox takes the cake so far, maybe not later on but for right now its not really an argument that x1 has some better big games out, and will have more this year. PS4 will catch up next year for sure though.

no now, but it will, that's why is selling better

imo no, havent touched my ps4 since PT demo and prior mgsgz

the ps4 is selling great and will continue to b/c its plays 3rd party games the best, and alot of 3rd partys aswell as indies support the console it will continue to get exclusive and timed exclusive games naturally aswell, since 95 % of SW sold are on both PS and Xb1 and PS4 plays them the best theres very little reason to own both

ps4 is not selling on hype much like the wii did last gen gamers all know the future when owning ta PS console PS3 showed us this yet again last gen PS will always offer the most diverse, new exclusives and high quality, from almost all genres throughout the entire lifespan of the console

I think its selling cause of future potential more than anything tbh... I mean, you look at the ps3, its later years were its best years and deservedly so, in which case I think most people are buying it cause of that! Plus it has the better versions of the multiplatform games, it has great first party developers and 2013 had amazing games for the ps3 that couldn't be missed so I think it makes sense as to why its selling

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

The PS4 has games that I like, but quite a few of them don't have a lot of mainstream appeal. As of now, I believe the Wii U has a better library. However, 2015 might change that in the PS4's favor.

I think that's a little harsh, but I see your point of view. Anyways, the best game on the system is a remastered version of a year old game. That should tell you something.

No, the Wii U has the best library. The PS4 currently has very few system sellers. That being said, it looks like it will improve greatly over the next year.
