As the title says the base Destiny game or guardian edition as well as the season 1 pass all get a free upgrade to next gen if redeemed before Janurary 15. A great deal for those that want Destiny but are still on the fence about PS4/X1 purchases

edit:All your stats/gear follows you from last gen to current.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Doesn't this mean that the best version of the game to buy is the last gen version? Since you also get a digital copy of the game too. Its kinda like buying two games for the price of one.

Whoa, great deal! I want to play Destiny on PS4, but I'm the only one of my friends who owns the system. Now I can play on PS3 with my friends and then move on to PS4 at no extra cost :)
