It was shown here a few days ago in the playstation thread that there was a Halloween themed sale on Psn in the US but it seems they've done a similar thing in Europe too (minus the sunset overdrive font on the sale!)

I'll be honest here and say this isn't my favourite Genre but there are a few really nice Gems floating around there if people haven't played them.

Castlevania SOTN for the PS3/Vita for 4euros, if you've not played that game it's one of the best Metroidvania games around (I did hear a long time ago that the xbla version was missing some cutscenes and I'm not sure if that is true of the psn game also, but still the game itself is solid gold)

Resident Evil 4 + Revelations, 2 really good Resi evil games before the series started to go Co-Op/ Call of Duty mode on everyone but for the asking price here there is a lot of game to be had.

Not too much love for my Vita here, if anyone has a recommendation from the reduced games I'd happily consider it but already own Alien Breed and Lone Survivor from the fairly limited offerings here.

Done a bit of digging around, apparently only the XBLA version of Castlevania SOTN was missing the cutscenes due to the limit on game size at the time on XBox's arcade titles, the PSN version is pretty much everything from the original PSone disk for either the PS3 or Vita version.

I really recommend Catherine. Was a great surprise.

It is indeed an amazingly good game... Was a tad strange for me playing it since I share the male characters name... made those alluring scenes feel oddly messed up.

How long do these deals last?

They'll be there til Thursday Fortnight I think. So Nov 6th, if you have psn+ tho don't leave it til the last day to buy them because the extra psn+ discounts normally are removed the day before the prices return to normal.

Alright, thanks! Saw Catherine used for 20€ lately, but you can't really argue with only 6€...

If you like puzzles games you should love it, I mean what the game looks like... is not what it plays like. The actual puzzle/gameplay of it is quite headwrecking (in a good way) but the ecchi scenes inbetween are a great way to relax the brain :D

Well the only thing that bothers me is that it's digital! I like to collect games, so this isn't all that great.

Might actually buy the game now for 6€ and later the retail version when I find it cheap.

True, the PS+ discounts unfortunately vanish early on Wednesdays. Shame cause you can't wait to have a sneak peak of what will be on sale next week with it. It's still nice that games are on sale a day longer than before.
