I know I expected the 360 to outsell the PS3 in the US. It took 3-4 years until people were content with either the 360 or the PS3...otherwise it seemed to be pretty widespread that the 360 was the "thing to have".

The exact opposite is the case with the PS4 and Xbox One. The PS4 is the "thing to have" among many people right now, and it takes a long time for this mindset to change. So I highly doubt a couple of games are going to magically change the mindset from the PS4 being the cool thing to the Xbox One being the cool thing.

Not going to happen. Even if XBO takes back US, it's not going to dominate the PS4 like 360 did to the PS3. And we've clearly can see that Europe belongs to Playstation. So yeah, the best XBO can do is win US and that's about it.

Those games didnt help the 360 maintain its lead over the PS3. Theres little reason to believe they will take the X1 ahead of the PS4.

Similarly, MS couldnt maintain an advantage with 360's lower initial price. They are going to have a harder time with the X1 since Sony have stepped up their game.

The 360 also had plenty of third party exclusives like splinter cell conviction, the witcher, left4dead and timed exclusives like mass effect and bioshock.... once again, it didnt help them defend their lead and PS3 still overtook it.

Everything suggests the opposite will happen... that PS4 will keep building its lead over the X1.

360 didn't manage to beats the struggling PS3 WW even being out earlier. Now that PS4 is dominating and PlayStation's brand being at the top again and Xbox got bad publicity you believe that ?

The best thing to hope for Xbone is to catch up in US only. Forget WW... Stop being delusional two minutes.

Unless the Xbox One can beat out PlayStation 2:1 in the coming months, take japan, sell better in Europe, destroy the PS4 in china, no chance mate........
