Forums - Gaming Discussion - Xbox One To Catch Playstation 4 In Consoles Sold Worldwide Because of America By Holiday 2016.

Ironically, the Call of Duty bundle isn't even doing that WELL at the moment on Amazon. xP Last I checked, it dropped off the top 100 bestsellers list a day or so ago, was sitting at 115 thereabouts. (But it's beating the Sunset Overdrive bundle at least!) Madden bundle climbed into the mid-twenties a few days ago. By contrast, the Destiny bundle for PS4 hasn't seemed to drop below 35 in over a month, and has been in the top ten vicinity (between 8 and 12, most often 8) for longer than Madden's been in the 20s.. =P And the PS4 base console seems all but permaglued to the top 5. (Xbox One base unit's been in the 50s and 60s.)

So yeah... thus far, Halo's looking like literally the only chance you've got.

Is this the second coming of 'globally in the US'?

CoD bundle is too expensive, a $100 for a HDD upgrade is ridiculous. It might get bought by some CoD fanatics, and a few uninformed buyers, but a $100 goes very far in an external HDD department which XOne supports.

(But it doesn't surprise me because MS charges $110 for their proprietary X360 500GB hard...)

And a PS4 version will outsell an XOne version anyway.

I keep on hearing halo this and halo that.... Sorry guys but a halo that sells 10 million on average isn't going to sell the tens of millions of consoles you guys think it will. Last gen kinect got big in america thats why 360 sold so much. But now that kinect is dead the next big thing seems to be Virtual reality which will give the ps4 a much bigger boost especially if it comes out with some big aaa experiences. U serem to forget a lot of ps4's future which includes sony's vast aaa 1st party, aa/a indie exclusives, new tech etc... so yea... no

Nope. It can never catch up to the PS4.

Meanwhile, Nintendo and Sony are just gonna sit there and take it, right?

So, the xbox one really is just a shooter's console. Thanks for letting us know.

Yeah that's the weird thing about this prediction, it seems to be stating that both Sony and Nintendo will stop making games for their machines after this year, when we know full well that the 2nd and 3rd years are when the 1st parties start really pumping out content.

Exactly, Nintendo and Sony have their own heavy hitters coming soon. Those games he mentioned will move console, no doubt, but the gaps are only going to get bigger by that time comes around.

When he says the XBone will catch up to PS4 due to America, he doesn't mean America as in the 50 states. He means America in Texas.
