PS4 and PC's ‘The Witness’ is Nearing Completion

Orsi Spanyol of The Witness development team updated the game’s development blog last night with a new update on the game, saying, “Just wanted to do a quick post saying that we are all working hard on the game, figuring out some of the last unknowns and polishing things up. We are definitely in finish-the-game mode, that’s why the posts have gotten more rare. ”

For as much as we know about The Witness, the game is still a relatively mysterious project coming from Johnathon Blow. The last time we reported on the game, over 600 puzzles in total have been included in the game so far. That number may have risen since then, but has not been announced via the game’s blog.

Included in the latest update is a new screenshot of the game, showcasing one of the finalized areas of the map. You can checkout that screenshot just above in the featured image spot.

yeah true, but it was suppose to be out "summer" originally and in a week and a half we can offically call it delayed imo.  just glad the delay looks to be fairly small as this probably will land in the "fall" now.   is it too hopeful to think september?

same.  i'll never convince most people on this site to be even close to hyped as me since many still blindly hate indies but i'm sooooo excited.

on an unrelated related topic,.. i just started the swapper last night.    sooo good as well.  if you are into puzzle games like i am i very much recommend it so far.
