Forums - Gaming - It Doesn't Seem Like Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor Is Getting The Attention It Deserves

So first off I'm just gonna talk about the game and why I'm excited for it.  I'm not a big lord of the rings fan, but even I got hyped after seeing this story trailer:

The nemesis system looks awesome to me, and is the best way I've seen developers using the power of the current gen systems, yes its gonna be on last gen too but the developers said they had to really water down the nemesis system to get it to work.  I love that every enemy is gonna be unique to my game and they will evolve depending on if they kill me or I injure them, etc.

The combat has the traditional Batman Arkham combat and I think thats great, it looks really smooth and looks like they got it right.  It has the parkour from the AC games, I mean whats not to like?  So what do you guys think of the game?

Around the Network

I hope it is good. A podcast I listened to after E3 said the nemesis system was awful and amounted to a short cutscene appearing every single time you come up against a creature you had already fought.

If they get that working well and the combat is good I will probably get it

Monolith is an awesome company too. They worked on Blood series, Fear games except the bad one, Condemned, No one lives forever, Shogo and some others.
