Lot of PS3 games (not on PS4) are still coming this year and next year ( kindom heart2.5, naruto storm, Borderland pre-sequel.........), same for PS vita but Sony completely avoided to talk about those games. The reason is quite simple: If 50% of PS4 owners doesn't have a PS3, that simply means that lot of their fans are still satisfied with their PS3, PS vita or PSP. In other word the best way to make them get a ps4 as quick as possible is to focus all the attention on the PS4.

It is a shame that the Vita never got anymore love from Sony... they have clearly given up on the handheld and are waiting for it to die! We could always say 'but there is still TGS!!' but I think hedging all our bets on the next conference is a bad idea...

PS3 has a Huge third party support in japan just go and check the upcoming ps3 games in some japanese website

Almost all PS3 exclusives coming out now are Japanese though, so why would they talk about them in Gamescom?

Its pretty clear that they didn't talk about the ps vita because of the shortage on demand.. Why waste time on a product that not a lot of people want..

Those games aren't even out in Japan yet so they wouldn't be talking about localization right now. Besides, when have they talked about localizing Japanese games that aren't giant franchises in European or American conferences?
