I'm curious as to the best speeds you all get from Nintendo's eShop, PSN and XBL.

Both PS4 and XBOne (and PS3 i believe) offer best-effort network speeds in the test connection screens.

So, basically test and fill in the blanks:

I'll be making a graph with all of the information so please be as accurate as possible and report actual speeds.

When I'm wired I get 25 Mbps (which is the max I pay for with my plan) on the PSN store

Seeing the speed OP gets makes me want to cry. I didn't realize the US was that far behind on internet speeds. I usually top off at 22 Mb on Live and 18 Mb on PSN. I have Comcast (It's either them or ATT's crap DSL in my area) and lately my internet has sucked. I feel like I am constantly being throttled :(

Edit: after this post I check the speeds again and now they are almost 50 down and almost 6 up...

I get 12Mbps down, and maybe 2-4 Mbps up.

I hate the internet here in the States

PS3 download is slower than PS4 download, even though when doing the internet connection test gives the same raw number.

In real life it seems max PSN download rate on PS3 is about 1MB /s and on PS4 max PSN download rate can get up to 3MB /s.

Part of the issue with the internet speed in the US is the size of the country. The larger the country, the harder it is to put out internet infrastructure. The other part is probably laziness/companies dragging their feet.

That or they keep it low so they can get a ton for our little bandwidth.
