Peyton hasn't looked sharp in quite a few weeks, which is why I suspect the Broncos are relying more on their run game. This will only be exacerbated if he did in fact (further) injure himself blocking last game.

That said, I don't think it'll be enough. You'll need to rely on the Red Rocket to go atmospheric!

Broncos defense is much, much better this year. They have a good shot to win it all same as all the other top teams mentioned so far.

I have zero faith in Denver being able to go into Foxboro and come out with a win.

This is  probably the best statistics article ever written on the chances for each playoff team to win a Super Bowl each year. It is based on football's unique position in American sports of having only one game to determine a champion. A much better read than all the proclamations that have been made here lately.

The Broncos are a top tier team. They may not be playing their best right now but if they get it together in time for the playoff games I see no reason why they couldn't beat any AFC team to get to the superbowl.

Also I don't think the Patriots are as unbeatable as most people think. Yes, they are going to be tough as hell to beat at home, but I can see a few teams upsetting them in the playoffs (Colts, Broncos, and maybe even the Steelers if they get their shit together). I mean just look at Green Bay they weren't at home last week, but everyone thought they were unbeatable and they got beat by the Bills.

...who exactly was this "everyone?" I don't remember anyone saying Green Bay was unbeatable, especially after narrowly beating the Falcons at Lambeau.

Anyway, just stopping by to tamper expectations, since apparently Pot Roasts' guarantee has made us all go crazy. The playoffs, especially in recent years, have been the mother of all crapshoots. No one's even clinched a secured seed in the postseason yet. Let's at least wait until the playoffs are actually set before we start guaranteeing Super Bowl appearances.
