Well Tokyo Ghoul season 2 had an absolute atrocious ending, what the hell where they thinking.

Boosting manga sales, as usually.

Yup. Still think it was absolutely stupid of them to diverge from the manga story though. Keeping the same story would have built more hype for the manga, as people would want to continue the story where the anime left off.

The final two episodes of Shirobako were brilliant. Just absolutely fantastic.

I think, looking back, that it's not just one of the best anime of the last few years, it's one of the best anime ever produced. It's so far above the average that the difference is almost breathtaking. It's clever, nuanced, so well written and directed. The voice work is flat-out excellent, the animation is detailed and intricate, and the music is perfect. So many great characters, so many great moments. Shirobako truly and honestly felt like a labor of love, where the staff were pouring in all their experiences and emotions.

My only regrets are that it's over and that I lack the knowledge to understand all the references.

P.A. Works should be very, very proud.

Let's stretch on it.

They didn't exactly diverge from the manga ...

A lot of the outcomes still stayed the about same ...

I dont know about you guys, but as soon as the first Opening song of Tokyo GHoul played while Kaneki was walking, i got DA FEELSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! DA GOOSEBUMPSSSSSSS!!!!!!And how they showed everyone injured and stuff ( reminds me an ending of a war movie )

And What and Awesome Speech kind of thing =D Izumi said in Parasyte! And i thought she knew that Izumi is already a Parasyte. Since they had sex and all.

I cant wait to watch the last ep of Death Parade later tonight!!!

Pocky Lover Boy!

Death Parade is the most overrated anime of the season but it was good ...

Outcomes were similar, but from what I followed a lot of plot was changed in the anime in getting to the outcome. So eh.

Log Horizon ended on a strong note and its officially caught up to the LNs... we wont get the third (and final) season for a while. LH will have 15 volumes in total and this was adapted up to the 10th volume (current volume) Each season covers 5 volumes so if we're lucky we'll see the entire story turned into an anime within the next 2-3 years.

I don't really like the Death Parade ending. Feels like a cop out and nothing is really explained and there are still so many unanswered questions. This needs another season but it will feel weird because an integral part to the previous story will be missing.

Still it made me feel nice at certain points and it was something fresh so I'm not too hesitant to give it a 9.

Shirobako got the 10 at the end btw which I really hand out very rarely. It just needs to be rewarded for what it is. I mean it's still full of all the anime tropes but the execution is just so perfect.

What things do you need answered or explained ?

Everything. Who exactly is that Oculus fella? What will happen now that human emotions are obviously rampant among the arbiters. I also need some more insight into Nona, Quin and Castra. They seem like very important people in this conundrum but are barely touched.

I would've let it slide as a contained mystery if the ending had any impact whatsoever. But it just basically stops without any kind of conclusion.
