So much stuff ending now. Kiseijuu and Kantai Collection were pretty anti-climactic but I guess they both deserved a solid 8.

How far along are you? 2nd season? Strikers?

I watched the first season but that was a long time ago. I need to finish the rest before Vivid starts.

fair warning, strikers is annoyingly slow at the start, like i honestly would have dropped it if it were a new anime at episode 3. It was waaay too slow. It picks up in the 2nd half but god is it slow.

Doesn't really matter how slow it is. As far as I'm concerned every episode is 20 minutes long and I need to get through it before next week. It's not like I'd skip a season that is part of a series.

Well Tokyo Ghoul season 2 had an absolute atrocious ending, what the hell where they thinking.

Boosting manga sales, as usually.

I knew Tokyo Ghoul route A and Kantai Collection would end up been duds ...

Tokyo Ghoul re: will be a disaster too since Pierrot will probably adapt it ...

Uran10's winter Feelings about anime in the winter season #3:

Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata: If you only saw episode 0 and thought this would be your regular old harem anime with ecchi and annoying and obvious cliches you have never been more wrong in your life! I have just finished the final episode less than 5 minutes ago and I am quite hyped to talk or write in this case about this one. This is another story where the characters are truly what drives it, more specifially BEST GIRL: Kato. Kato is truly the reason to watch this anime. Her personality( or lack of) breaks every stereotype you could think of when it comes to the main girl while we have the childhood friend/tsudere eriri and the obviously cool headed long black haired Yandere, Utaha. When this cast comes together you'll enjoy some conversations you might expect to find in Oregairu and some of pure bliss and comedy. This anime also makes fun of the childhood friend/ Tsundere and many other tropes in anime and its a blast. I don't want to spoil too much but you truly get to see a small slice of the Otaku lifestyle in this anime and have fun laughing (or getting annoyed at some obvious tropes) at this amazing anime. If episode 0 is ignored this anime can truly be said to have given a fairly unqiue experience. At the end I thought that this anime truly deserved an 8.5, it is well written the characters are likeable and you can't help but love Kato.

Kato, best girl of 2015!

Kato is an awesome character.  Without her, it would be an anime of non-stop cliches.  Those cliches work just fine, though, with her as a counter-balance.  It was a nice concept to write a harem scenario around someone who doesn't really fit into a harem senario.  She has some great lines, too, which makes it even better.

The final two episodes of Shirobako were brilliant. Just absolutely fantastic.

I think, looking back, that it's not just one of the best anime of the last few years, it's one of the best anime ever produced. It's so far above the average that the difference is almost breathtaking. It's clever, nuanced, so well written and directed. The voice work is flat-out excellent, the animation is detailed and intricate, and the music is perfect. So many great characters, so many great moments. Shirobako truly and honestly felt like a labor of love, where the staff were pouring in all their experiences and emotions.

My only regrets are that it's over and that I lack the knowledge to understand all the references.

P.A. Works should be very, very proud.
