Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Halo: The Master Chief Collection PC Listing Appears

I don't think anyone is buying xbox1 for the MCC collection.  Almost every person that has or will plan to purchase a xbox1 has already played the older Halo games.  Thus, I don't think MCC PC version will harm Xbox1 sales.

Although the MCC PC version will likely not be release this year, I do think that the MCC PC version should be released before Halo 5.  However, I think introducing Halo MCC to a PC audience that may not have played the recent Halos may spur a new market for Halo 5 and Xbox 1 consoles.

You're wrong

I don't think its true. If it is then its gonna be hard to justify a purchase of an  X1...

I wish.

Wouldn't be surprised if this were true. MS already made a statement earlier this year saying they wanted to bring more games to PC. Then the report about PC gaming bringing in more revenue than consoles and it just makes sense. Also MS has always been more willing to let their exclusives go to PC. In fact that's how I first played Mass Effect and Gears of War and ended up getting an xbox 360 after.

Great, tell me when a version for the Ouya comes, in 1080p at 60fps with multiplayer maps, exclusive to the Ouya platform ;)

Too much?

Would be interesting, but I doubt it.

And a great console shooter doesn't necessarily translate into a great PC shooter. Look at CoD and Battlefield since they concentrate on the console versions.

Wasn't Halo 3 listed for steam years ago?

Dead Rising 3 was made by a third-party dev, and is a game in a franchise that was never exclusive to Microsoft.

Fable 3, Alan Wake, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, Mark of the Ninja, State of Decay, Halo: Spartan Assault, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, Project Spark, Below...

Fable 3- Mediocre at best

Alan Wake- OK, still 4 years ago

Alan Wake AN- Is pretty much a small spinoff

Mark of the Ninja- Also released for OSX and Linux, not developed by Microsoft

State of Decay- Mediocre

Halo: SA- Mediocre at best

Max CoB- Mediocre at best

Project Spark- Yet to be released, not really even a game, more like a game maker

Microsoft abandoned the PC community when they stopped porting Gears and Halo to PC.

Your point? All of them published by Microsoft Game Studios for PC in the last 2 years, it doesn't matter if they are mediocre or great. Alan Wake is old? So are Halo 1 - 3, and even Halo 4 is 2 years old in November.

Which 360 exclusives aren't old or "mediocre at best" at this point? The most great 360 exclusives are old, the most newer 360 exclusives aren't that great.
