I did :) You can see the higher res'd texture above the blurry ps3 texture. Still seems strange and in this scene there shouldn't be any LOD at work, in my opinion.

G24/7 that compiles all reviews gave this link, but if you notice, it's a link and score from last year's version.


No Polygon originally gave Last of Us a 6 Edit : Actually it looks like it was a 7.5 so they did up their score but not by much. I must have been thinking of a different game they gave a 6 to.

Oh, I see. Then it's fine, graphical improvements shouldn't raise the score more than 0.5 anyway.

EDIT: Had I scrolled all the way to the bottom, I would have noticed, but the link and review date threw me off, so I just stopped there at first.

does Gamespot give any games anything but 8s? Literally every game I have played recent was reviewed as an 8 by them.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

they should just release this game every year. that way sony can have at least one triple AAA title every year of the ps4's life.

To be fair this version does have the DLC included as well so it is a bit more than just graphical improvements over the original PS3 release.

You are correct, forgot that detail. Guess they liked the DLC for an 8/10 as well, so it averages out :)
