Well, what do you think?? I was playing Star Wars Battlefront 1+2 with my nephew and it got me thinking: With the rich mythos of both Halo with the UNSC, Covenant, Rings and so on and Gears with the COGs, Locust, Sera, both would be absolutely amazing Battlefront-style games, or do you agree?

Imagine running through the fields as and ODST or COG gear, fighting of the covenant or flood or locust, after a while being able to select a hero like a spoartan or Marcus and absolutely obliterate the enemy. It would be important that the games also allowed splitscreen against computer opponents, since I think that was a strong selling point.

How much do you think it would sell?

Battlefront simply wouldn't be Battlefront in any other universe than Star Wars. Neither Gears nor Halo have the kind of universe or characters needed to make a Battlefront game.

If I had to choose though, Halo.

The reason I thought about it is because Battlefront borrows heavily from Battlefield and it is a theme perfectly fit for a war between clear opponents. Halo for example, could add an element since we have a third party in the flood. But you are riught, Battlefront is a perfect fit for Star Wars.

Halo 1 was very colourful, now its so uber realistic.
